Klaus the Farrier talks about Essential Microorganisms (EM) and Horses

This week I interviewed horseshoer Klaus Selmayr on how he uses EM technology with horses. The video is in 4 parts on the new Katonah Green Channel!

EM stands for Essential Microorganisms. Developed by Japanese horticulturist Teruo Higa in the 70’s, these microorganisms work to dramatically enrich soil for agriculture. They are also used for human and animal health. Teruo also developed a way to treat contaminated water. They have been used extensively for disaster remediation and were used in clean up after Hurricane Katrina.
